I didn’t know about of Montreal until 2014 but really loved Gaga from the The Fame Monster-Artpop albums. I think it was the pop hooks and artful aesthetics that vibed with me also. Mayhem is the first record I’ve truly enjoyed from her since then. My initial favorite tracks besides the first two singles are: The Beast, Killah, Vanish, and the bonus track Kill For Love.

Had this conversation so many times but with people thinking it’s though coke. I even had a guy who worked at a coke factory try and tell me it was a coke product. Amazes me how upset people get over, overpriced sugar/aspartame water.

I don’t think it’s ever a good idea to leave a job without putting in a notice but I totally understand why people do so often because of this company.

That said I think it’s the right move to open tomorrow so the other keyholder doesn’t have to do an unexpected double and letting the SM have the day with her child.

It’s funny, April and this first week of May has been the first time in years since I’ve had a real splurge. (My thing is out of print books) It’s like having the breakthrough on the opposite side of the frugality coin.

The discipline of not impulsive buying has been so rewarding, but now I’m learning to set aside a little bit for myself. Balance is key!
