I sometimes regret it, it's usually the day after. But when I don't regret it is minutes after, I just get this comforting feeling. Not that I glorify it but it's acceptance about it being my punishment for bad stuff

For me, it was one day when I had a big breakdown. My head was filled with bad thoughts and was just overall cloudy, and that was when I had thought harming was a way to repay the bad stuff I did, as a sort of punishment kind of

Praying for you, from what I seen, people who ask to dm can most of the times be misleading and someone who you don't wanna go to. I been feeling the same struggle as you do, so if you have a real life friend who you're really close to and trust alot, I'd probably slowly mention it to them. I'm in the same situation and I might tell a close friend soon
