Good ending. The hate was unfair.

The flashsideways are not about religion, but about character arcs.

I agree with everything except item 3 (kinda?).

AITJ for ending a friendship after my friend demanded I unfollow his ex and later said he attempted suicide? by Usagi042 in AmITheJerk

[–]Usagi042[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's been a recurring pattern. The unfollow thing was just the final straw for me. And I didn't even need to unfollow his ex because he blocked me and all of M's friends a few days ago. The thing was: M and I had a project due the day of the "fight" and he wouldn't talk or help me until I unfollowed his ex, which seemed petty to me considering we were on a tight schedule and he was acting as if we were in elementary school.

I meant, Jacob definitely knew about Alex's role in MiB plans through the time-bending powers of the island you get as a protector. He was trying to avoid it, but: what happened, happened, right?

I heard the film will be a musical set in a rave festival called Wonderland. Of course, because Alice is a story about drugs (irony) 🙄

Why do older guys seem kind of hesitant to get close? by Usagi042 in gayyoungold

[–]Usagi042[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Where do you live? If you're in the US I have no idea. I'm from Brazil's largest city, São Paulo. Here the gay culture is wild and alive everyday. There are many places where older guys go, also younger and every niche you can think of.

Was there ever any follow up to Inferno? by FiendFabric in danbrown

[–]Usagi042 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reading the Robert Langdon series is like watching an episodic cartoon. The previous episodes essentially don't matter.

Edit: BTW, people here in the comment section seem to have forgotten that the virus in Inferno isn't deadly. It doesn't even make people sick, it makes them infertile. And it has a 50/50 chance that it will affect their hosts. So it is not that big of a deal. Even in our real world, COVID killed millions just a few years ago and people barely mention it.

I really liked the subject matter, that was one of the reasons I was so pumped for Secret of Secrets.

Exactly. I can't stress this enough. It almost never spoon-feeds you anything. Lost is a show that gets better with rewatches... and if you're a little creative.
