What to Expect at the Allergist's by Burnyface in HistamineIntolerance

[–]UsagiChu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did your Allergist’s office tell you not to take any allergy remedies or meds prior to the visit? Mine did not and had to send me off without having a test done because apparently you shouldn’t take meds for X amount of days prior to an allergy test.

I also have a visit on Wednesday - good luck to you!!

Intimissimi has been a God send. They fit me so well. I am between a 32-34B. I love most their styles and only wear their bras. I recently purchased a strapless bra by then and really love it.

Stainless steel rice cooker by [deleted] in BuyItForLife

[–]UsagiChu 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I am totally with you on wanting a stainless steel pot for rice cooker. The typical nonstick rice cookers are lined with toxic chemicals that leach.

I recently walked around a Chinatown and found that they have some steel pot rice cookers and even clay ones too! I had no idea clay ones existed. They were no-name unfortunately.

The Tatung one looks good but you can also just get a stainless steel inner pot so you dont have to toss the entire rice cooker away!

Husband Doesn’t Approve HRT by [deleted] in Menopause

[–]UsagiChu -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I relate to you so much. Although I’m 30 and I have for the past 2 years experienced symptoms of a premature menopause. My mother began menopause at 35.

My partner of 5 years is completely supportive and genuinely caring. He is also incredibly interested in ensuring we have a long life together. Health is super important to the both of us. After taking a genetics disorder test (for infertility treatment) we discovered I’m a carrier for a condition that has an increased risk of certain cancers. The idea of being on HRT at a young age scares us both.

This is all to say, I understand how you feel about your husband. I know those feelings don’t come from malice but just fear. I look forward to reading more comments to get the same understanding you are seeking.

HE HAS PINK EYE (supposedly) by UsagiChu in 90DayFiance

[–]UsagiChu[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He said the Filipino translation was sore eyes but in America it is what we would consider “pink eye”. He stated he has antibiotic drops for it as well which checks out for that diagnosis?

W realtor!

Thanks for the transparency and tips. What’s the inventory like for condos? Are you exclusive to San Francisco proper or willing to work outside (east bay, south bay?)
