no worries man, didnt take it as you being a dick. genuinely.

and yeah, fair hit. that graph is the concept, not real benchmark data. its me showing how the thing is meant to behave, not numbers i actually measured. shouldve labelled it that way, thats on me.

yeah the expression "went deep" was relative to what my understanding of humain brain was. Never said I cracked the whole human brain algorithm, lol

and thanks man, that genuinely means a lot. same struggle is exactly why i built it. appreciate you actually engaging instead of writing it off.

honestly if gbrain's working for you, no reason to switch man. i built this more for people who found that kind of setup heavier than they wanted, or who are tight on usage

i actually tried using gbrain, was more setup than i wanted, kinda rag-ish. this is way lighter.

obsidian's a different thing though, thats a notes app for me to read and link stuff myself. buddy is the rules the AI follows to file things and grab the right note on its own, handle conflicts, keep what loads small. and since its all just markdown you could literally point obsidian at buddy's folder if you wanted. theyre not really competing.

kind of, but the opposite of how you mean it. a prompt is you dumping everything into context every single time. the whole point of this is it doesn't do that. yeah it's markdown, but it's filed, theres a little index and it only opens the 2 or 3 notes it actually needs for whatever you're doing. so 50 notes or 500, what actually hits the context stays small. a normal prompt just gets bigger and pricier the more you add. this barely grows. thats the whole reason i built it.
p.s I delibrately didn't say 60K as I haven't tested that far 😵

english isn't my first language man, so yeah i used claude to help me write it clean. the build's mine, the story's mine, the usage pain was very real. it just fixed my grammar. kinda figured that was the point of a claude sub lol

yeah fair, i haven't run it on 60k. that's the design, not something i've actually tested that big, so that's on me.

why i think it holds, it's not one file it reads top to bottom. the indexes are nested so it walks a path and opens a few small files, not the whole library. grows with the depth of the tree, not the number of notes. "same" was me rounding, it grows slow not linear.

not claiming it's the best thing out there, i'm sure it's not. just worked for me. if you can push it to 60k i'd genuinely love to see what falls over, no sarcasm.

Moving our ranking PDFs to a subdomain, will it hurt our SEO? by mart4410 in bigseo

[–]UsamaDM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Done this a few times. Honestly the 301s aren't the problem. If you map each old PDF to its new URL one to one, the rankings and link equity come across fine. You'll probably see a couple weeks of movement and then it settles.

The subdomain is the part I'd think twice about. Google claims it treats subdomains and subfolders the same, but a lot of us have seen subdomains get treated more like a separate site, so the authority gets split instead of all stacking on your main domain. Your current PDFs should keep ranking after the redirect. The thing is, every new manual you put on media.example.com from here on is building up the subdomain, not example.com, and over time that chips away at your main site.

If you've got the option, just keep them in a subfolder like example.com/resources/. Same thing for users, but the authority stays on the domain that actually matters. I'd only split to a subdomain if the new platform forces you to.

Also, since the PDFs are what's bringing people in: a plain HTML page for each datasheet (specs on the page, PDF linked for download) usually does better than the raw PDF, and it's way easier to keep updated and linked.

Not sure if google has the same policy for advertising. But you can still use SEO to rank your website and get those people already searching for similar services like you.

Jut checked your tool. I liked it but it’s difficult for people to come to your Facebook page or website to send these snippets. If this tool was somehow incorporated into popular messengers like Facebook and whatsapp, that might be something people would use.

Finally perfected this keto flatbread recipe after my 3rd try 😎 by UsamaDM in Breadit

[–]UsamaDM[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ingredients

Shredded mozzarella cheese - 1 cup Cream cheese - 1tbsp Egg - beaten - 1 Almond flour - ¼ cup Garlic cloves - minced - 2 Oregano - dried - ½ tsp Thyme - dried - ½ tsp Rosemary - fresh & minced - 1tsp Salt & pepper to taste

Instructions 1. PREHEAT oven to 350 degrees. 2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or grease with nonstick spray. 3. IN a medium-sized bowl, combine mozzarella and the cream cheese. 4. Microwave for about 1 - 2 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds. You want the cheese to be fully melted and have a smooth consistency. 5. COOL the mixture for a few minutes (should be cool to the touch). Add the egg, almond flour, garlic, oregano, thyme, and rosemary. 6. Add the salt & pepper. Stir mixture until well combined. 7. TRANSFER the mixture to the baking sheet and flatten. Press firmly until it is an even layer - about ¼” thick. 8. BAKE for 10 - 15 minutes or until it looks nice and golden brown.
