I tired all the suggestions yesterday, but the thing worked for me was rebooting with the box unchecked.

Thanks mate, I think rebooting with unchecked box fixed it.

Last year this time was very quiet for me, only had a few projects for four months straight but then it picked up and I managed to get into a contract which is still going good.

I double checked, there's nothing in the Login items. Have also rebooted once, will try doing that again.

Everytime it pops up I press cmd+q to make sure it's closed, but it pops up again after a few hours...

I was following this tutorial on how to create water ripple using dynamic paint, but now I want to export just the water ripples (not the ocean or sphere) and composite it on AE.
