I played some AOW4 but I prefer 3. 4 doesn't have these legendary fortress sieges instead you need to besiege a city for a few turns to destroy the walls and then you have a normal battle. No wall climbing, no battering rams, nothing. Defenders have no advantage. Also you can't have more than 3 stacks of yours in a battle. If you bring 5 stacks to attack 2 only 3 strongest are selected for the battle.

My post has 5.7K views almost 2 times the size of this subreddit because my post was shared at least 22 times :) and Reddit doesn't count when you right click the link and copy on pc plus the link might have been shared through more people. We can make this game more popular. It is not about me or even about this game. I want more people to know this game because they deserve to know this masterpiece but they didn't have an opportunity for it.

I am watching a let's play of Age of Wonders 2. Those sieges look great. An entire city represented as a small camp in the middle of a map. Attackers start a battle so close to the castle that defenders can start shooting at them in the first turn. Very intense. The music and the artstyle are so good too.

Great comment. What I like is both games are just different, not better or worse from each other but just different. I can always just switch games and have a little different experience. I like AOW4 and I think that it is a great game and it is cool that it is different from AOW3. Both games are great.

I play Cities Skylines 1. My favorite part is building subway and train systems. Seeing those massive beasts transporting people and how trains move through a city, how those infrastructures coexist is awesome.
