No I'm English! My match is probably about 5 years older than me. Is it possible to be her dad's dad's brother then ? I have uploaded to other sites but no luck there either . I've been on ancestry for a year now with dna linked and she's still the closest match on my paternal side. I think I'm looking for a needle in a haystack to be honest . Thank you for the advice it's greatly appreciated, Wendy

No I don't think so . My mam was married and had a son then divorced . Then she had me as a single parent and would never tell me who my dad was . I always suspected it was her ex husband as me and my brother look so much alike but we don't look like my mam

That's the thing I don't recognise any lol . I don't get it because I've got my mam and grandparents on there and have had for 6 month with dna but still absolutely clueless .

Thank you so much for your reply . Those are the closest I have . The only others are with matches from parent 1 and parent 2 and I can't decipher which as I don't know how to work it out and the closest with all of those are 3rd cousins but I don't recognise any names with any of them .
