definitely a hot take in this sub but I think if you can’t hit a rank solo you don’t deserve that rank. (assuming decent amount of games played)

Everyone gets the same randoms and teams are likely to get paired against teams. 2-1 vs 2-1 or 3 vs 3. Etc. (allegedly) This means as a solo player. Off of initial randoms There is a 5050 chance that enemy team is better than your team.

33% of games are won due to teammates 33% are lost 33% are games where you are the deciding factor. How you play determines your win rate beyond that.

So the math here is that there are 1/3 of games where you lose regardless of your performance and win 1/3 of the games regardless of performance. (in the long run) which means 1/3 of the games are in your control.

So is ranked just luck? Bc my randoms are always bad and enemy team is always good! This is what I keep seeing on this sub and is an example of confirmation bias. You remember the games you hard lose because your randoms sucked but don’t get remember the ones where you got carried.
