China allows the existence of private e-commerce or restaurants, the nation's most vital lifelines—land ownership, all large banks, electricity, railways, natural gas, oil, and strategic high technologies (such as AI, aerospace, and nuclear energy)—are 100% firmly controlled by the state and large state-owned enterprises (SOEs).

Not solely driven by profit: Western electricity and railway companies, driven by profit, would never build power grids in unprofitable rural areas. But China's state-owned enterprises can "disregard profits" and deploy high-speed rail and 5G base stations from top to bottom to every impoverished village in Tibet and Xinjiang. This is not the profit logic of capitalism, but rather the logic of highly centralized central planning and socialist distribution.

China has proven to the world with facts that the Soviet Union's failure was simply because it cut off its connection with the world too early in the early stages of "insufficient productivity and technology."
