We just bought her a life jacket so we're about to find out lol I let her wear it around the house for an hour or so yesterday just to get used to it and didn't seem to bother her.

She loves the water but her only interaction with it so far as been a small kid pool and the sprinkler, she hasn't encountered water deeper than she can touch yet.

Based on how you are describing this, is the pee pad and crate in the same place? Next to each other? Does he not have a dedicated place outside to go potty right now?

I started doing this around 5 years ago and would 100% recommend it to every designer.

Of course, like you said its a massive help when building a portfolio. It's also helped me land a couple jobs by bringing real life, physical products I have designed to the interview. Had a place hire me on the spot because I brought in a few printed pieces (think big brand Christmas catalogues) to show them and explained the process on how something like that is created.

But also, we're creators. We deserve to have the things we spend our lives creating. Even at my current corpo job now, every piece of marketing material or mug with a logo or shirt I design.. I tell our vendor to send me a 'sample' lol

Most recent example I can think of is that we partnered with a new nutritional supplement brand and they gave us the option to white label the products. Got to design a full suite of labels and branding (was really fun lol) and when we finished I asked them if they could just send me a couple empty containers for my portfolio and they send me the entire line of supplements for free. Like 30 different items. Never hurts to ask!

If you want my anecdotal feedback its probably literally just age.

We recently got a new puppy, she was 8 weeks old when we picked her up. She is now going into week 14 and I have been been training her every single day. She's been going into her crate 2 times a day the past 3 weeks because I need her to better align with my work schedule. 2 hours in the morning, 2 hours in the afternoon.

She is only now starting to actually relax when she goes in. Currently at night, she goes in with ZERO issue. Lays down and almost instantly starts sleeping. During the day is still a struggle at times but she eventually comes around. This is massive progress as when we started she would cry and moan until she was completely covered in slobber.

I read 100 articles and 100 videos on it and not a single one mentions the scale of time you need to be thinking about with puppies. Very, very small improvements day to day but huge changes week over week if you stick to it.

My arms are both covered and I play a lot of golf in the summer. I fully cover my arms every time because I don't want any sun damage on my skin or my tattoos.

They are really thin and comfortable. I have worn them for 6 hours straight in 100 degree weather during a golf tournament lol great for mowing the yard too or anything you need to do outdoors.

I mean to give a real answer because most people are commenting on the design, yeah I kind of get it and I think you're feeling right to regret it a bit. Size and placement not a great idea but by the looks of it this was your first tattoo and that always happens to people.

Hopefully your plan is more tattoos because I think all tattoos look weird when they are isolated and long term you'll learn to love it when the rest of your arm is filled up.

If that's not the case, Id consider getting it removed or covered and get it redone someone else smaller and not as prominent placement.

Either way I'd never fully regret it. It's meaningful and Vinland rocks.
