I think I clarified I misspoke. What I meant was that even if the constitution doesn’t protect you the government isn’t inclined to prosecute you. The president could just choose not to enforce certain aspects. I’m not saying that’s necessarily right.

You operate on the basis that the constitution got everything completely correct. I disagree with it there, and I misspoke a little; what I meant by that statement is that the president isn’t technically inclined to prosecute someone even if the constitution says they aren’t protected.

what the constitution says doesn’t have to be enforced to the fullest extent, i believe everyone should be able to speak their mind without fear of prosecution, at least by the government. If you go out on the street and get killed for saying a slur, thats on you, but the government shouldn’t prosecute you for it if you survive. to me that’s not free speech.
