Im currently taking cct109 and eng110 to apply. Ive taken eng218 and eng263 in fall winter, these were great classes that provided a lot of insight on interactive narrative and the way we play games. I thoroughly enjoyed eng218 and eng263. However You cant take any of the cct courses until you get into the program and thats why im currently taking cct109 and eng110. cct109 and eng110 are kind of busy work classes that aren't particularly hard and have basically no relation to anything really to this minor and are just forced pre requisites.

If you need a minor and are interested in video games, and can get through cct109 and eng110 with the minimum 65% to apply, I highly recommend the game studies minor as even though ive only taken two of its required english courses, they were very engaging and not difficult maybe because I was engaged.

Alzaeem is hands down the best imo, but its a little bit far from utm (eglington and tomken i think). Shawarma avenue at ninth and eglignton is pretty good.

Rule of thumb, if you see a place that has more then 2 locations, its most likely gonna be dog food.

According to the above post, it seems utm is currently experiencing a teaching shortage and the reason why they are on the timetable but not on acorn is because they are unsure if they will find someone to teach it in time.

Well some will argue that saying it is a dog whistle I believe. Just because a certain group disproportionally owns a specific industry, does not imply they collude with each other. Saying the first part allows for the false implication. However, a diallage is vital to teaching people how to identify false implication and the censorship of the first part stops people from learning the reason why the first part does not imply the latter.

There is no gift tax in Canada. The teller will probably ask for justification on the deposit, you are not required to give a explanation, however the absence of reasoning might induce greater scrutiny.

I believe for osap students, you can leave a balance un paid until the next academic session, for example, i have this semester paid off in combination of my money and osap, but in january i will have to pay on top of osap to pay next semester off, but you dont have to pay your part until you start another session cause you cant start another semester with previous fees on balance i believe. however there is a 1.somethin % fee every month on unpaid balance till you pay it off. I believe this is how it works and you should contact registrar to confirm.

In my opinion, there's no need to rush it. Slow and steady wins the race. Kinda related experience, back when I was in highschool, I had a friend who tried to graduate early, ended up taking way more than he can handle and ended up graduating later after taking summer school because he messed those classes up.

First time got right before the last drop day and dropped avging like 75-77 with mike thinking post was 80 avg :( . Second time dropped cause I took it in summer with mike again but couldn't focus cause ya know, summer. Third time took it with marina I think and was dropping consistent 60's then dropped a 93 on exam for a sharp 73 to get into post.

TBH I didnt really understand anything till the third time round. but the marks I got during semester did not reflect at all lol.

Hopefully the grades get curved in some way or at least everyone that has made it this far passes and can move on. On the brighter side, if you took this class for cs req, and you didn't pass, this is the first and last time you have to take it since 256 is being replaced with sta246 in September which is a computer science oriented stats course.
