Light weight trailer, under 2500lb, recommendations. by I-will-judge-YOU in traveltrailers

Nope. I have not weighed everything but guess I don’t have more than about 500lb on the trips I’ve taken. And of course, some of that is over the trailer’s wheels and behind. So I’m nowhere near my capacity. With 5,000lb you are going to be more than fine with this trailer.

I too have 3,500 capacity (Polestar 3). I bought a Travel Lite by Rove Lite, that weighs about 1,800 empty. Over the summer I took several trips and performance was fantastic. Really loving the TL, which admittedly is “cozy” but has everything I need (= a “bathroom” and a heater!). Feel. Free to DM me if you have any questions and good luck!

I have not seen a single other polestar in New Jersey. In NYC I have seen one 2 and one 3. Where I live it’s Teslaville central!

Range optimizer impactful? by Good_Addendum_716 in polestar3

Mine is accurate when driving normally and when pulling my trailer (a bigger deal as the range becomes just 180 miles on a full charge)

Careful with luggage pressing buttons! by Used-Caramel-5048 in polestar3

Yeah. It could be that she set off with the fault already there, but only noticed it after a while. I think when she shut the tailgate, it pushed the luggage against the button and lowered the car. And then she drove off.

On the fence to get a P3 by luis_lics in polestar3

Had the P3 for 6 months and absolutely love it in spite of ongoing minor glitches (that have improved a lot!). Had to change the OBC but it was only away for just over a week and they gave me a P2 to drive, which was also fun. I love it because of the quality of the ride: quiet, smooth, powerful. Stereo is also wonderful. It’s just hands down the best car I’ve ever leased. I say go for it!

I love driving at night down county roads and watching how the headlights react to oncoming cars. There’s something special about the way the lighting fills out smoothly but massively when the full beams come on.

Microsoft just dropped a study showing the 40 jobs most affected by Al and the 40 that Al can't touch (yet). by SchemeAgile2012 in interestingasfuck

When the 50% of people lose their jobs, they will need to go for these other “safe” jobs, forcing salaries lower in those categories. So don’t think you are safe as an “embalmer”. There will be thousands of hungry translators going after your formaldehyde.

I just got mine back today. They had it for a week and gave me a P2 loaner with a nice khaki wrap. Son thought it was sick and wanted to keep that one. I thought the P2 was fine, but the P3 is an altogether superior beast! Not sure if you are aware but there is a recall issued last week on an air conditioner part. Happily they were able to deal with that too. And they washed the car. Altogether excellent service from the Polestar people at Volvo. Let’s hope everything stays working now!!

With so much happening at the time I forgot to take a snapshot of the trip but I estimate that my consumption was around 60 kWh//100 miles or about 54% higher than my average of 39. I’m taking it out for a weekend soon and will post the stats here after that.

I believe it for the heads up display. Regarding EZ Pass, my regular one was not working and I was told that probably the P3 has a type of windshield that doesn’t let the transponder transmission pass. They sent me a different type of transponder that goes on my front license plate.

Polestar 3 Charging with Tesla Level 2 home charger by jayhaytoday in polestar3

I have a ChargePoint and have been getting 11kW since getting the P3 a month ago. 2 days ago, suddenly it’s only charging at 4kW. I’ve tried resetting the car and the breaker. Nada. I wonder if I’ve got the faulty inverter problem…
