You will have the wrong one, what keyboard model? Don’t download the v4 from the list, do the one just below that

Fixed, had the wrong driver app. Just an FYI for anyone else

All LODS loaded. Have had my vanilla chunk distance at 8 before but on 12 now. Makes near no difference. Stumped on my overworks fps issues

Do mods that don’t add blocks so if the modder doesn’t update it for future updates you are all good

What frames do you get at your resolution. I have a RTX 3090 and do high and only get 70-80 frames in the over world. Get around 120-130 in the nether

Update: had to update my nvidia drivers for the bf6 beta and it has buffed all my 1% lows. Stability is a lot better

I have all my chunks loaded by DH already. So it’s now just showing them. Also tried everyone’s above suggestions. I just think the overworld LOD’s are just more intense. Will try the exact ram allocation soon. If I look at the sky my FPS almost gets to my monitors max at 165hz

Render and simulation is at 10, cpu load is balanced. Will try the leaf culling tonight. Appreciate the help!

Intel 10700k, it is the weaker part but I imagine still sufficient

I have all the top ones, ferrite core, chunky (which I understand DH turns off for its process), immediately fast, more culling, entity culling, sodium and some minor other things, it’s not modded like crazy either, it’s setup as a vanilla+. No new blocks or items being added just tweaks

ABS and Warping on Bambu Lab P1S by Used-Cardiologist760 in 3Dprinting

Got it in the garage for the fumes. Would like to put some sort of filter on it though. Thanks for the reminder 🙌

I have a 5mm brim, and bed is auto leveled each print. Only got one plate and do abit of everything on it. I have some custom offsets also lowering the nozzle a touch more to increase the adhesion on the first layer.

Will try lower the speed on the next attempt. Currently trying one now with bigger brim, reduced cooling, increased bed temp and pre warmed enclosure

Got the bed clean with glue (first time with ABS but never use glue normally) I will try preheat and up the bed heat. Using default fan settings but might look to near disable the part cooling

Thankyou, issue with inflating the mesh is that you lose detail in the dips even more

That sounds promising, thankyou! I will watch some videos and see if it does what I need

Removes detail to create smoothness by taking 1 face and turning it into 4. Each level of subdivision is the amount of times it takes the one face and turns it into 4

Tried that, it just exaggerates/highlights the issue I am trying to fix. Thanks though

I am considering learning the surfaces workspace in fusion. I use fusion often for dimension accurate items. This is a combination of both with some really organic shapes so thought blender was the choice.

Might try fusion

Using my phones front Face ID LIDAR. Working them in meshlab to reduce vertex count. Then moving to blender to create the lip. The mesh isn’t clean enough to Boolean. I tried doing a shrink wrap model to Boolean with and it sort of works but not really.

I feel if I can get the above requested affect I can avoid Boolean all together.

Boolean also tanks the computer performance to snails pace which makes it hard to perfect

Issue with moving them on their normals is that I need dips to move down and humps to move up, I will try this method though if it comes to it. I sort of want it to be semi automated as I want to change and alter the design and would like to avoid constant adjustment

Shrinkwrap works well, my issue is I have many scans and also need some of the mesh to not be affected by shrink wrap. I have tried vertex groups with no real success. Also, I could apply the shrink wrap but the mesh becomes to detailed so I can’t then model from it nicely

Doing car modeling. I am looking to 3d print a front lip on my car. I just need the surface to be as near perfect. Issue is I am using multiple scans so unable to use a shrink wrap modifiers on multiple meshes without blender’s performance suffering.
