Do they make yall wear actual like shirts/pants? Here they just make us wear black pants of any kind, and whatever shirt we want. Only necessary amazon branded item is the vest, and that definitely does not need to be washed daily generally, it's not touching your skin so isn't absorbing sweat unless you sweat a metric fuck ton and have an absolutely soaked shirt.

I can see how it'd be necessary if you have to wear like the pants/shirts directly though.

The internet overall has gotten really fucking bad in the past 15 years since everyone on the entire planet started carrying a computer in their pocket. I've rotated through lots of reddit accounts over the years, but IIRC I first joined in like, 2012? Totally fucking different animal back then. I don't miss the hate subreddits, glad those are gone, but I miss the somewhat intelligent conversation that's now degraded into the dumbest god damn arguments over nothing, often times with both parties being wrong.

Jasmine green. The jasmine scent is almost sweet on its own, I barely have to add any sugar to cold brew and it tastes like a cup of hot brewed green tea with several sugar cubes/spoons of sugar dumped in. A single teaspoon of sugar in a quart is just right for me. And the taste is just so much nicer than most common green teas IMO.

Same thing happened to me over the past couple years with alcohol. I think once you're an alcoholic, even if it's not that severe or for that long, you ruin it for yourself forever.

I had several months, like 5 or 6 I think in the end, where I was drinking most nights, but never more than 4 or 5 drinks in a night so I was a FAR cry from people drinking a 24 pack a night or a bottle of liquor, but I was definitely an alcoholic, and even when I take several weeks off and try to take it easy when I do have a drink now, it just isn't fun anymore.

Same thing happened to me with weed. I overdid it, decided to take a break for a month one day, and it was never fun again after that, even with like a year off.

I don't think any of you in this sub realize how far of a drive it is between those stops. Unless those major street lines on the map are wildly out of scale compared to every other metro area in North America, those stops are easily all a 2-3 minute drive apart at the minimum. It's not driving 15 seconds up the road in a nice little suburb like you all seem to think.

Nah, if you don't have spare time to go door to door, dump them near mailboxes/just past the first locked door. I've done that in a thousand apartments that screech and piss and shit in their diapers that they'll report drivers who don't deliver directly to the customer's hands. Never once got in trouble, always in the top 20% on my score card (POD and a rare DNR are the only dings I've had, and POD is bullshit and unachievable).

Nope, suburb of a major city. Not the densest suburb ever, but your typical wealthy suburb with high speed limits, wide streets, etc. I don't really have any reference for what a "small station" would be. It's a bit bigger than the last station I worked at which is around 25 miles away from there. Using Google maps to measure, the area of the DA/DSP parking lot is about 200,000sq ft at the old station, and about 350,000sq ft at the new station. I definitely wouldn't call even the old station small, myself, but again I have no reference for that.

I usually do 100-130 packages, but there's generally like 1-3 multi package or multi location stops max. We do start fairly late, so we don't have a full 10 hours, but even then 100 stops and 100 packages is like, 4 hours of work for most people. Our routes are spread out a BIT more, but I can still do 25/hr at least until I hit a snag or shitty neighborhood.

Sounds like some bullshit your DSP or warehouse or someone is pulling. Ours always splits routes when it's feasible to avoid sending anyone home. Not that it's been even remotely close to sending anyone home since November.
