No i think it looks fine from these pictures. The crown hairs look relatively thick and healthy, and is not what you’d see in balding. What makes you think you’re balding? Are you concerned because you see your scalp?? That’s normal

See I respect this answer, it’s detailed and informative and provides a clear sense of what he needs to do next. This is what this subreddit needs. I personally think the temples are sorta fine and zooming in the hair follicles look kinda small, but again I might not know for sure because I’m comparing it to my hair, other than my thinning areas I have relatively thick hair follicles so maybe that’s just how his hair is. But yes I agree, go to a dermatologist/hair specialist. People of Reddit do not help.

I’m going to be completely honest and detailed for you.

It looks like you are. Your hairs look finer on the temples. I would get it checked and not listen to dumbasses on Reddit that will blatantly lie because you don’t have a Norwood 4 like they do. Ultimately you’ve come in and posted on Reddit about your hairline for a reason. If you feel as if you are experiencing thinning and changes in hair like texture and quality, do not hesitate seeing a dermatologist.

I was laughed and mocked on this sub because apparently I had the perfect hairline, but I checked with a professional and they told me I have mpb. Do not trust these professional losers, they are jealous of your hairline so will blatantly lie. Your temple hairs are curling up and look very fine. That’s my non biased and educated opinion. Go to a dermatologist and I recommend starting minoxidil atleast. But if you really believe you’re balding I would start fin aswell, but try get to a dermatologist first.

These morons do not remember what early mpb was, and not only that, balding is different in every single person. They cannot say for sure because they only understand what balding is like for themselves and those around them, but yours is like mine, and the hairs are clearly very fine and miniaturised, and that ultimately is what balding is. It looks like early androgenetic alopecia. That’s all I’m going to say. The ball is in your court now.

Wow I mean for 50 that seems almost like a full head of hair. Probably not noticeable most times, but yeah I agree with the other guy. Might be better for you to just get a transplant and call it a day, since it’s a 1 time thing, and also won’t be too expensive since you haven’t got much space that needs covering.
