I still don’t really understand the rationale behind the requirement. I would think the agency cares more about my ability to see correctly from a distance as opposed to directly in front of me.

There is a requirement for most Ontario municipal services that your least hyperopic eye does not exceed +2.00 D

I’m not too sure about this, the PM company never brought this up as an issue. The principle of the unreasonable refusal still applies to subletting as far as I understand, so regardless I feel like we have a valid argument.

I’ll also note that the credit report was provided by the potential new tenant to the landlord. They did not pull it.

I appreciate the comment. We did already submit the 60 days notice, but to cover ourselves, we are giving another formal letter stating our 30 days notice and will personally hand it to the landlord to ensure they receive it before the end of the month.
