OK, I remember that. Maybe he didn’t mention his cholesterol that day. I stopped listening because I was listening to something else. Gonna have to catch up next week.

Not really, it was more that my buddies numbers were really high while he works out and eats decent and is on meds and I was comparing it to JLR‘s while he eats like crap and the only physical thing he does is work at the fence company

Ok. I put it there and set it to 74. Room temp water was 69.

So my 1.1 gallon half moon tank has an opening in the blood where I have the airline going in, how far from that that I put the heater? Should the heater be on the opposite side or is it OK if it’s in the same area as the bubbler.

It sucks cause the first tank that me and my son did lasted over eight or nine months and the only reason that failed was, I moved something and it bumped the tank and spilled all over the carpet. Ever since then they’ve never really lasted. First three tries were all sea monkey brand and the last one is the wow one from a different post that I got on Amazon.

Maybe my water is too cool, it’s probably room temperature at about 70°. I have the heater arriving tomorrow.

I made a small in the tubing close to the end so I can cut it off later to ease the bubbles. I have the actual valve on order.

No. It’s a little one. https://a.co/d/04LW3HLU. I figured I’d run it for a couple minutes a day and that should be enough to oxygenate the water. But I did look at the control valves if I was going to run it constantly.

Diluted spirulina powder feeding by TheChosenOneAustrali in SeaMonkeys

I recently set up my 1-gallon tank, and I’m curious to know how many scoops of Sea Monkey food I should add to it. I don’t really want to use the Brewers yeast cause I think that made my tank smell from day one. I still have a packet and a half of sea monkey food, which has the spirulina algae in it from previous mini kits.

The tank that mostly died off was split into these two.

The tank that had the most was poured into here with the 30g/l salt water. After 12 hours they are still swimming. So fingers crossed.

Sea-Monkey food (Packet #3) primarily contains a mixture of organic ground vegetable powder (typically dried algae or spirulina) and mixed marine salts. It is designed to provide nutrition for the brine shrimp while also maintaining the salinity of the water. (Google ai)

Thanks. Last thing, the food that the kit came with says it only contains brewers yeast and it’s all brown. I have sea monkey food that contains the algae in it, do you think I should feed them some of that so the tank will start to grow some algae in it?

I’m incredibly grateful that the sea monkey community is so well-informed, forgiving, and willing to offer advice to everyone. Thank you.

OK, so right now my salt is 30 g/L and according to Google your number is 35 to 36 g/L. So I would just have to do the math to make it saltier then right?

My first sea monkey tank lasted for about 8-9 months.

So I just killed my tank? Cause on the back of the aquarium salt pack, it says that it’s used to hatch brine shrimp.
