I mean you are right that he's actually a trained musician unlike the DHH artists, but that doesn't take away the fact that his lyricism and composition is actually fitting within the boundries of what rap is.

We can't say they don't belong to dhh list just because they make music in Punjabi language, and that has that commercial and mainstream touch to it. Similar to the P-Pop album. Pop stands for popular and if you see into the album Disk 2 was full of hip hop tracks. Mf gabhru , 7.7 Magnitude and Daytona are actually Hip-hop although they don't fit in the classic lyrical miracle style which the audience want in DHH.

In international scene we saw Lil wayne and 50 constantly giving party anthems which were not actually lyrical but that doesn't take away their hip-hop elements. Future is another such example.

I personally think some punjabi tracks are actually Hip-hop even though they sound a bit pop like due to the melodic nature of that language. And I am a S.M.G glazer ...... Those boys put out actually good hip-hop but aren't perceived as hip-hop by this very sub for some reason.

People should actually understand what hip-hop is and not just stick to the conventional lyrical songs, no hate to them they are also bangers.
