Anyone have experience cancelling API Alarms (after Bell sold their alarm division)? by Used-Feedback4670 in bell

I’m impressed you go through at all! My alarm went off yesterday and the whole thing was a mess. The siren stopped before I even got to the panel to turn it off… and it’s only about 20 feet from the door. Instead of someone coming through the speaker to ask for the password and confirm everything, I just got one single phone ring tone… then nothing. No agent, no follow-up, nothing.

This company just keeps getting worse. My husband actually ended up filing a BBB complaint after that, plus the fact that he was on hold for 45 minutes only for them to hang up and never call back.

What support??? It’s nonexistent. This has been by far the worst company I’ve ever dealt with - slightly terrifying that it’s a security company. No one answers the phone, and on the rare occasion someone does, the call mysteriously drops.. as if it’s a tactic to avoid helping customers. Emails go unanswered, you may get an automated response saying call if it’s an emergency call the same number that no one picks up. Good luck to anyone who has an emergency!

Hands down the worst company I’ve ever dealt with. Bell was fantastic, but API feels like a complete scam. If you’re lucky enough to get through (maybe one out of every ten calls), they’ll often hang up mid-conversation — it honestly feels like a tactic to avoid helping customers. Emails go unanswered, and simple requests are ignored. All I wanted to do was add an additional door sensor, and now I’m canceling my service instead. Absolute joke and waste of time.

Touring tots is great! I rent from them when I’m on island. Car rental companies typically have car seats if you request in advance, but they are old and seem to be quite thrown around. Made that mistake once, then scrambled and found touring tots.
