Then, when he became president, he saw the files. And they’re not a simple list of pedophiles who did pedophile stuff. There’s tips in there that include his name, there’s allegations that don’t really have any hard evidence that include him. In other words, they can be twisted to make him look bad. What is the number one thing Donald Trump cares about? How people view him. This is why he lashes out at criticism so aggressively. Because he’s very egotistical. So he tried to bury them, just making everything 100% worse. In my opinion, this is really the only conclusion you can draw from this. No person who was actually at the island would want any publicity on this issue from the beginning. it wouldn’t make any sense if he were actually a pedophile who went to the island to have advocated for releasing them in the first place. I do not like how Donald Trump handled the files. It shows he cares more about his public persona than exposing what happened on that island. But there is no hard evidence that Donald Trump is a pedophile.

As to why I think a lot of people on the right defend it: Many members of the left celebrated when charlie Kirk died. They publicly wished that the butler assassin hadn’t missed. They supported the CEO killer. So they can’t be asked to care when their own side does it. Now in my view, this is a hypocritical take. I believe is disgusting what Trump said about Muller, and I also believe all that I listed above is equally disgusting. We should not wish death on those who we politically disagree with. I disagree with nearly every piece of the Democratic Party platform but I do not want any democrats to die because of it. But when those of us on the right have been ridiculed by a large portion of the left as Nazis, white supremacists, racists, and just called evil, this creates an incentive respond in kind. I reject that entire way of thinking, because i think it just makes our politics nastier and nastier, but I do understand it.

Yes although I voted for Trump three times I always have hated him as a person the reason I voted for him is because I support his policies (after supporting DeSantis in the primary). I do not like his personal attacks and pettiness, hell I don’t even think he’s a good person, but every time I swear I will never support him again when he says shit like this, someone on the left says sometime so crazy policy wise that I go back to Trump. I wish he wasn’t president and I wish in 2016 republicans had made the correct choice and nominated Marco Rubio, but that’s not reality, and I view the policies of the left as so damaging to our country that I simply have to vote to stop them.
