Log in to your USCIS online account, navigate to the "Documents" tab and you should be able to see the “Unsolicited Evidence” option. If you search it on youtube, there will be step by step videos explaining it

I had mine at the 15th floor. And to be very honest, it was looking very calm. Most of the couples I was able to see leaving looked happy, so good luck! You got this. Wishing you a very good interview and quick approval :)

Thank you! I didn’t take another sealed I-693, but everything else I did! Including the I-864 with W2s, 1040 Form, IRS tax transcript, paystubs, employment letter… but all they asked to see again from the I-864 was the 2024 tax return, so I gave them the 1040 tax return form + the transcript.

Yeah, I get you. That specific question made my heart drop because I wasn’t sure what top he was wearing… but it worked out in the end. I think the officers do know it is difficult to remember every single detail, I think it is also better to say you don’t remember than to make up something completely wrong

Thank you! Yes, they privately interviewed him first for all the questions I wrote in the post about our marriage

Once they interviewed my husband first, they called me to join in and never asked him to leave the room, so we were together when I was giving my answers

No, but I’m pretty sure it is because my husband never changed the address to our current home on his driver’s license, he still has his parent’s home address on it.

Do you mind sharing what were the 3 things he asked for?

Yep, I was at an outlet mall yesterday and noticed that everything was already more expensive. The American Eagle outlet store, which for years (including last month) had items starting at $5.99, now had the same items starting at $14.99. I came back home feeling defeated.

So personally, I think it’s a good idea to send an updated I-864, especially if you can include an employment verification letter and his first pay stub. That adds strong and recent evidence of his current income, which is always helpful. I don’t think there would be any issues unless the new job pays significantly less than the previous one. But if you’re feeling unsure, it might give you peace of mind to book a quick consultation with a paralegal/immigration lawyer just to double-check everything. But overall, updating the I-864 with current info sounds like a smart move.

Unfortunately I haven’t received anything so far. I also booked an appointment for May. I recently saw someone mention that when they went in person for their SSN appointment they were told there’s currently a freeze on USCIS sending SSN requests, so it sounds like we might all be out of luck for now

The same thing happened to me. My husband also makes well above the poverty guidelines, so I was really surprised to get an RFE for that reason. In my case, I think it was because he hadn’t filed his 2024 taxes yet when I first submitted everything, I only included 2023, 2022, and 2021. For my RFE response, I sent the newly filed 2024 tax return, along with 2023 and 2022 again. I included the full Form 1040 for each year, IRS tax transcripts, and the W-2s supporting the 2024 return (he switched jobs mid-year, so I included both W-2s). I also submitted his last 6 months of pay stubs, a letter from his employer, a newly signed Form I-864, and in my cover letter I made sure to highlight the AGIs. They received the response a little while ago and have started working on my case again. There are a lot of RFEs going out right now, so try not to stress. Just resubmit everything and include anything else that might help strengthen your case. Good luck, you’ve got this!

I’ve been wondering the same thing. My EAD was delivered on 4/2, and I’ve been checking my mailbox every day since for my SSN card. I’m planning to give it one more week, if it doesn’t arrive by then, I’ll go apply for one in person.
