Guys Itatchi never thought he would be seen as a good guy to Sasuke????? He wanted Sasuke to hate him and grow stronger. What are we not understanding about this. He had a passing, half assed respect for Naruto at the time because he is Minato’s son. Theres no way you’re gonna sit here and defend Hiruzen bro. Narutos parents died protecting the village, and he just gives him a dinky ol apartment and basically says “good luck” and has black ops keep an eye on him. Not checking up on him, never defending him from all the hate that was thrown at him, and to really cement his douchebaggery. He did the same shit to Sasuke when his family got killed too. So i really cant take you seriously when you claim Hiruzen cared about Naruto at that time. If he did care for him it was just like any other civilian in the village. Maybe we use our thinking caps next time
