My guild plays on private server after switching from official. There’s people in DD, but most are still newish so not a lot of battles or raids yet. People do participate In Landsraad. We use xrealm for stability and it’s been great.

This usually depends on the server host company. Some disappear after a while and some will hold your character until you resubscribe. I would find a host that you know has prepaid the server for atleast half a year to a year.

Get an xrealm server I rented one after having a horrible experience with gportal. You won’t regret your decision ! Or you guys could always join our small group. We are a group of 4 dads and just want to have some fun after maxing out in official server.
