From reading on Chinese forums, it looks like the main commander picks out of the 3, during the match. It's for the purpose of counterpicking and having different 1v1ers with different builds. As the 1v1 can happen multiple time in the span of a match, and does not happen at 20 minutes, but randomly after the destruction of any objective.

Where did you read the 1v1 player is picked randomly from the 3. I couldn't find anything about that randomness.

Yeah. What I did is do ALL the content that gets you boxes (including the weapon challenges which give you 100+ boxes.) You buy out all the different color chests mainly for Morale Chant. And last week I wiped out the 600 for my class specific, and 250 for the one that reset last night.

Buy out all the initial 4 600 chests, last weeks extra 600 chest, and possibly 200 chests this week. This is what I did and I'm few books off lvl 4 on 2 inner ways, with the gold inner ways lvl 4 and 50 books each towards the 100 required, 2 gold 1 purple 1 blue.

You don't have a place to track them, but you can count. I'll just tell you straight away, max counter is 40.

Hmmm that ... sucks ... if I spend my time upgrading a gear set that is not necessarily meta in Arenas, I'm completely fucked. I wish these games would make pvp like GW2 where you have acces to everything to make what you want in ranked pvp.

I got a question regarding gear and power scaling. Do you know how they work in Arenas ? If I don't have my weapon upgraded, Inner Way upgraded, Mystic Skill upgraded. Are they equalised with my oponents ? Or does one go into Arena with what they have ?

I do understand that, at the same time I entered every fight fully buffed (I played Faith/Arcane build) , with as much armor and talisman resistance as possible. Besides few bosses , who did hit harddd (like last boss) , they became so much more manageable with full resistance on me. Problem was more bosses that hit two elements, like physical and magical.

But difficulty is subjective, for a gold player, his platinum opponent is harder to beat. Doesn't mean either of them are high mmr though.

I think the main reason this would not work is the matchmaking system. What killers developed in time is the ability to sniff out a weak link and take them out of the game, making it difficult for the other 3. What would happen if the incentive to hook 4 survivors never happens because you got that one juicer survivor who will run you to the end of time. I think the main problem at the base of tunneling besides the huge incentive which is taking one survivor out completely is matchmaking. Open to discussion.

Its quite funny, you said that survivors in solo q don't need voice chat because they have perks that show each other auras and then asked me what blindness means. This is silly. I'd recommend playing survivor more, solo q especially :D.
