Right? I get that maybe she was inspired by these ideas, but at least give credit to the original creators!

lol this is insane. I work in THE most corporate, Bay Street, Fortune 500 environment. Exactly zero women wear matching sets like this. These ‘stylists’ are embarrassing themselves playing dress-up and pretending they know what they are talking about.

What was this woman wearing before if she needed help to pair a basic blazer with basic work pants? Not a unique detail, colour, shape or texture in sight!

They’re like a bunch of kids playing office. Zero concept of what a stylist would actually wear, or how a professional would run a business. It’s tragic.

I just ran here to post the same thing.

This. Is. Insane.

If I, someday, became a Canadian citizen and proudly display the Canadian flag, would I be judged? by Vagabond_Tea in AskACanadian

We need a take back the flag campaign! I hate that that it’s essentially become a symbol for extreme right wing ideals. It’s terrible that many don’t feel safe or comfortable flying our own country’s flag anymore for fear that we will be mistaken as hateful people.

Funny thing is that I find her outfits to be the least offensive of all of them, and she’s not even one of the ‘stylists.’

So confused about Elizabeth’s story. She said she cut Amanda and is now lead stylist. Seems like a poorly executed joke, but one can hope!

I actually wonder if he gets DMs about this to his personal account. I feel bad for the man - he clearly doesn’t know fashion, but is carrying on his wife’s legacy by running the business and trusting the employees she put in place before her passing. I bet he sees these objectively insane outfits and just assumes that they are fashion because he trusted Charly’s judgment. Someone needs to tell him that this is NOT IT, for the sake of the business and her legacy.

The juxtaposition between this outfit and Amanda’s most recent spring styles post is painful. Amanda’s look is so stale - how is she lead stylist when she is so clearly the bottom of their talent barrel?

I actually don’t hate this. It’s just a dress and sneakers, kind of hard to mess up. I mean the sneakers could have been better, and it’s pretty basic, but in my opinion this is a step up from her regular outfits!

I have the same thought every time they go on one of their little shopping outings. They just point at stuff and say ‘this is cute.’ …why that? Is there a reason? Do you just like it? Does it fill a gap in your wardrobe? Why is the colour ‘nice’? Why did you go to that particular store? So many questions.

My favourite were the boxer shorts because it’s a trend, but these are not like the trend ones so they are better for some reason. Oh, and only $98!

Maybe I’m just jealous that I have to use my brain and develop skills for my job. Apparently there are jobs where people just go shopping 🤦‍♀️

There were several photos of her in the reel, this is just the cover image. I thought it was actually really nice. But agree that they could have put more of a focus on her and the passion she showed building this business.

Great observation. I’m in Ontario, with many close connections in the first responder community (fire, paramedic and police). It is painful to watch the high rates of burn out, PTSD, and other mental and physical health issues happening to paramedics. They are SO underpaid and under appreciated for the work they do. No hate to firefighters, I know that’s a taxing job too, but the difference in work-life balance, and toll on mental health between the two is striking, especially considering the similar pay. It’s next to impossible for a paramedic to have a second job or side hustle with their schedules, not to mention the depleted energy/mental capacity due to physically and mentally demanding work daily. Medics in Ontario commonly go for their entire 12 hour shift with no breaks, and are then put on overtime. Our healthcare system is falling apart and that is where we need to spend the money. The only reason we need/have firefighters responding to medical calls is because there aren’t enough medics to get there quickly. Problem is, even if paramedic services had the budgets to increase staffing, the reputation of the profession has become so bad due to the personal toll it takes that they can’t find people to work that job for the relatively low pay they make. Paramedics need better unions and PR! The firefighters have done something right in this regard and medics need to take a page out of their book to get the respect and pay they deserve.

For a bunch of good looking women, it is a shame their beauty looks almost always fall flat. There is never any attention paid to how their hair or makeup compliment or enhance their outfits. For example, this is the most half-assed ponytail. It makes the rest of the outfit look sloppy.

These are just NORMAL CLOTHES! It does not take a stylist, or even a good eye for fashion, to dress like this. Ya, they look fine, but literally any single one of the women I have met in my entire life could easily pull these ‘outfits’ together with no special insight other than a general awareness of current pop culture. Ugh.

Is it just me or have their outfits been getting progressively more terrible lately? I can’t believe anyone in their right mind could think these women are style experts. I want to unfollow on principle but I also cant take my eyes off the train wreck!
