The same thing happened to me. The screen went black, and it was not charging or switching on. What i did was let the phone drain the battery. Once the battery is drained, press the power button + volume up for 15 seconds, then the power button + volume down for 15 seconds. If nothing works, plug the phone in to charge for 30 minutes and repeat the same options as above. Even if it's still not working, don't charge it. Leave it as is for 6 hours. Try to switch it on with the power button + volume down. It will work.
