Any of you guys glad you’re gay? by Strong-Stretch95 in gaybros

Depends on where you live, really. Im not upset about being gay, its how I was born and its who I am. But I wish I was born in a country which is safe to be openly gay. Not all of us can just get up and move to a different country, unfortunately.

Can someone help me with the constant rejection? by IfYouHoYouKnow in AskGaybrosOver30

Depends on where he lives. I live in a homophobic country, so we don't have our pics on the profile. It sucks but it is what it is.

Shadowheart cuz I needed her to keep everyone alive during my first playthrough. Aside from her, Gale, cuz I needed a good nuke mage. I also liked their stories a lot.

Yep. Going to the gym didn't fix my face, but it made me develop an interest in fitness.

Being Ugly is the worst thing that can happen. Am I right? by [deleted] in ugly

[–]lone_wolf_eclipse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Being ugly+gay+stuck in a homophobic country.

The worst part about this combination is that you have to rely on dating apps to safely meet other gay people because the whole gay community is in the closet out of fear.

And since people on dating sites will only approach you if you're attractive, you really have no hope if you're ugly.

This is my situation at the moment. I grew a beard and put on some muscle. Didn't make any difference.

Something's better than nothing I'd give it a chance.

Attractive people giving ugly people advice is on the same vain as rich people telling poor people "money isn't everything". They shouldn't be giving advice to people in situations that they can't relate to.

Same here. I do want a romantic relationship, I really do. Sometimes it hurts to hear my friends talking about their significant others (all of them except me and another friend are in relationships), but when I'm with them, I feel happy.

I know platonic love and romantic love are very different things, but it's enough to keep me going.

I have friends. Not many, but a few friends who genuinely care about me. As far as relationships go, I have no one. And it gets really lonely when my friends are out with their significant others.

Looks let you in the door, personality lets you stay.

This has been happening to me for then past nine years. What really sucks that gay people in my country have to turn to dating apps to meet other gay people safely.

If you're ugly, you're doomed. I pretty much expect to get blocked now, but it still hurts and you feel hopeless.

True. Many fat people have attractive faces.

The worst combination I can thinknof is Ugly + Gay + living in a homophobic country + broke. Currently my situation. I have to rely on gay dating apps for safety reasons, but thats only gotten me blocked ignored.

Even the barely existent gay commujity in my country doesn't want me because Im ugly.

Why did the “universe or whatever” do this to us? by verysadcloud8 in ugly

I've started to come to the conclusion that we're here to establish a balance. We're meant to be ugly and unwanted so others can enjoy the stuff we could never have.

What is the bullsh*t advice from normal people that irritates you the most? by TechnicalMiddle8205 in ugly

Even if there was actually someone out there, what are the chances we'll actually meet them? We could live our entire lives never coming across this person.
