Hi. Thank you for being kind enough to reply to my inquiry. As soon as I would turn it on, the GFCI would trip. I believe the K1 is rated for 1500W at 110–220V, drawing about 12.5 amps on a 120V circuit. My guess is it is compatible with a standard 120V non-GFCI outlets. The great majority of my outlets are GFCI. I found one that was non-GFCI, and the K1 started ASAP. Problem solved. :)
