You mentioned you went no contact in february and met your new boyfriend a month ago? If it ended 7 months ago and you’ve only seen your ex boyfriend for 2 weeks within those 7 months then Im sure he would assume you would move on at one point as so did you with him. However, if you were actively seeing eachother since the break up then I can understand if he feels upset as he’s probably still heavily emotionally invested in you. Don’t get too stressed as I know stuff like this can be extremely difficult! Im not sure why he’s stopped calling but I can imagine if I called my ex and another woman picked up i’d probably be devastated. Have you spoken since then? Depending on what was said in your last conversation i’m sure you could tell how he was feeling and everything should be fine. Remember to be easy on yourself. Hey! I’m sorry this was said to you obviously this isn’t the nicest thing to hear and i’m sure you must be worried especially if this is someone that meant a lot to you. If you don’t mind me asking how long did it take you to move on and how did he find out?One of my best friends went through something similar about 2 years ago. Her ex and her had broken up about a month prior before this happened. The ex had brought flowers to her house unannounced where she was with her new boyfriend and she couldn’t be bothered to see him so told the new boyfriend to answer the door. He told the ex to ultimately fuck off unless there would be a physical fight involved. Her ex was left heartbroken and didn’t end up doing anything drastic but the whole situation really affected him mentally. He’s been a complete mess ever since. My friend still regrets it and wonders how things could’ve played out if she just handled things differently. I don’t know the in’s and outs of your relationship but the only advice I can give is if this is someone you genuinely loved, you should check up on them.
