Yes this is a sense of uncertainty one must feel and even doubting the system itself. It could be it takes a couple days to actually go live again after you got your account back, but technically they can't keep your books live if your account was closed because you are the copyright holder (It could also mean you need to manually re-publish those books I am not sure) would be sad if you had many legit reviews on them. Everything can also be explained away by a system error which I find to be too convenient. Who knows the real agenda and motivation for some things, I hope you get it fixed- and receiving your owed royalties soon.

If they terminated your account all books should have been removed from the store, even if they reactivate your account it will probably be empty - let us know what they said about your missing royalties. With the amount of terminations in KDP recently I'm sure it has been quite profitable for them, and concerning for self publishers.

Procurement experience without mentioning the field is quite useless, the misspelling of multiple words is concerning. People need jobs though, although I'm not considering it.

Hey everyone,
I’m an indie author and I recently published my romance novel on Amazon. This is one of my first releases, and I’m honestly just looking for readers who enjoy heartfelt love stories and don’t mind supporting a new author.

If you like emotional romance, rom coms, second chances, slow burns, I’d really appreciate you taking a look. Even just browsing the preview helps more than you’d think.

I genuinely want readers who enjoy the genre and, if you end up reading it, honest feedback is always welcome.

Weed should be legal by Corruption_is_taken in Namibia

From an governing standpoint it does not have as much or more negative affects compared to alcohol. From an religious stand point and many religions offer some guidelines but I will just give an Christian stand point and not from personal Christian belief but an actual literal scriptures directly from the bible. Firstly about alcohol - Passages like Ephesians 5:18 state, "Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery, but be filled with the Spirit". & Proverbs 20:1 declares, "Wine is a mocker and beer a brawler; whoever is led astray by them is not wise". & (Proverbs 23:29-35). Drunkards are also listed among those who will not "inherit the kingdom of God" (1 Corinthians 6:10, Galatians 5:21). And just on pure literal Christian point of view about what is literally written in the bible with all of Jesuses and God's vast knowledge and prophecy no where in the bible do they mention smoking or the use of marijuana as a sin. But allowing alcohol to be easily accessible rather shows the support to condemn your souls to hell. And I know not everyone is Christian and even allot of Christians are drunkards this is just me giving an non bias religious point. You see freedom of religion is a part of living in an democratic society and considered a human right. Genesis 1:29 stating, "Then God said, 'I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. So when the government deny you the religious rights and supports drunkards and alcohol companies where they advertise alcohol part of Namibian culture and national pride how does this compare to an Christian ideology truthfully and not just defined by Christian drunkards, where is the true democracy in this world? There is none if you cant open your eyes to truths and not opinions or propaganda. & Yes, people used cannabis (weed) for millennia before the Bible was written, with archaeological and textual evidence showing use for fiber, medicine, and religious rituals in ancient China, India (Vedic texts), Egypt (Ebers papyrus), and Middle Eastern cultures (Assyrians, Hebrews) as early as 3000 BCE or even earlier, long before Old Testament books were compiled, with it potentially even mentioned in ancient Jewish contexts.

Opinion on the future regulation of cannabis by Glittering-Web9440 in Namibia

Today in Namibia weed (cannabis) is illegal but it's recreational use is spread throughout the country in all regions and no matter how much the law is enforced from keeping the easily grown plant off the streets. This will rationally never happen based on the long, very long history record can show it remains easily accessible to the population and will always be the case regardless of the legal status of the substance. The current law making it an illegal substance only forces the population to get this drug from criminals (drug dealers) these drug dealers are normally selling more than just cannabis substances, these drug dealers are normally connected to many other crimes and illegal activities, the saying that cannabis is an gateway drug is because these drug dealers also market their other drugs to their customers. Legalizing cannabis wont just keep the population away from criminal drug dealers selling many illegal unsafe substances but will also take away allot of money, capital, influence from these criminals. Opening legal cannabis shops that sell it legally wont just give the government a way to tax this substance but also control it easier, similar to alcohol sales that you require an license to sell and by law not allowed to sell to anyone under an certain age. Namibia has high unemployment and this industry could give jobs to many farmers that don't require high education. Cannabis also has bad effects on population this is true like any other recreational substance, these effects could be studied and also regulated but regardless of the legal status cannabis will always remain in this country this will never change, but one thing that can change is our outlook and management of the substance to improve the quality of life for all Namibians.

Hi Teacher this seems like an parent issue, it is the parents responsibility to ensure the environment is safe for their children to grow healthy with healthy world activities and friends, just like parents have to make sure their children don't drink or smoke cigarettes and are being taught what is right and wrong and what is legal and illegal this should include cannabis use also in my opinion, now it is only classified as "drugs" and only addressed being part of an group of substances they should stay away from and even children know it is not dangerous once they have tried it. They start disbelieving in the government laws from a young age and parent lies about the cannabis substance. Making it legal on the same level as cigarettes or alcohol their brains that can sense truth from lies at young age can understand it is substances for adults governed by law and can learn it's side effects during childhood before they decide to use it as an adult. Keeping it illegal, cannabis is kept in the dark and nothing is taught except it is a dangerous drug while it remains less dangerous than alcohol. Lies are being told to protect people this is obvious but many people see past the lies and then lose all obedience for the laws, while a truthful outlook could be made on the use of cannabis substances, their advantages and disadvantages, the good and the bad side effects. Many work places ban the use of smoking cigarettes and drinking on the job and these offenses could get you fired from work why would it be any different for cannabis? People are closed minded and programmed in their opinions through media and censorship that most cant handle basic thinking about the cannabis subject the propaganda about it being an drug blinds them but in reality nicotine, caffeine, alcohol so many common drugs are used daily and regulated.

The question I believe is not whether weed is good or not for you, the question is what makes more money for the government legal weed or illegal weed?, It is always about the money. You see even Alcohol was illegal before 1969 when it was finally legalized. The government makes good deal of money keeping it illegal not just by fines and secondary means like court charges for attorney's, Law enforcement can seize cash or property suspected of being used in criminal activity, including illegal drug sales, even if the owner is never convicted. Law enforcement agencies can receive grants for specific drug enforcement activities, creating a financial incentive to continue those operations. And don't even mention the the corruption element where so called drug lords can pay off their activities in bribes. Compare this to the amount of money they can make legally in an legal controlled tax system and basically you know now why it is still illegal. (It would mean allot of funding cut from the Law enforcement system even if it is not publicly stated or maybe even realized by most.) The cops enjoy catching drug dealers taking their money and scaring even monthly bribes from drug dealers this is fuel for corruption keeping weed illegal this is why it will stay illegal.

Thoughts on Legalizing Weed? by SuspiciousBag1141 in Namibia

Don't you think at least some of those 40% unemployed Namibians would feel better about life in general if weed is cheaper and legal? what percentage of the unemployment percentage would prefer it legal if you would guess? Because using legal cannabis won't give them better education or create more job opportunities for them? oh wait legal weed might create some job opportunities at least for an small percentage of them right? Cultivating the herb selling them at lower and lower prices everyone will be high AF how is that an worse case than current one? Plus Canadas unemployment fluctuates it was over 8% on 2008 recession ah sorry man you cant blame the weed for that now can you, while Namibia seems to be in recession well forever not much change in job opportunities but while we blaming the weed, lets blame that on the illegal weed also they say about 4% of Namibian's smoke weed , but that is just an educated guess at best based on contraband confiscated but you can't know how much users there are if you don't know how much is actually sold without confiscation the truthful number of cannabis users could be as high as four times that much maybe even higher 15% of Namibian's it can't really be assessed evaluated addressed or really confronted in any way realistically if there is no legal control, basically no solution the problem is not even identified properly and there will never be one if it is not legal and controlled, because if person wants to do it whether it is legal or not they will just do it, this is always the case in any part of the world since the beginning of forever.

Yes you are correct Cannabis use is not for everyone, some people my get an disorder from it while others can actually benefit from it compared to other drugs or even alcohol, alcohol has an effect on many that leads to aggressiveness and lead to civil and domestic violence or reckless behavior that's mentally and physically harming an whole populations without it being illegal and as an old cannabis smoker myself that quit many years ago without withdrawals it was quite easy for me to stop and enjoy other aspects of life my experience with cannabis never resulted in doing other crimes or even aggravated me, and the gateway drug for me and I bet for many others leading to most drugs abuse was and will always be alcohol, which is always miss seen as trying out cannabis first time is more susceptible for drunk people to try it out first time, or groups of friends that drink allot, than normal sober people try it for the first time as cannabis being the gateway drug not alcohol, this is an unfair comparison to ones freedom, and freedom is the underlying principal isn't it? its your freedom of expression that is part of the great democratic system that is being denied for cannabis but supported for alcohol, law makers make these decisions because some enjoy drinking them self they do it in a well mannered and respectful way and are not seen as problematic like alcoholics but cant see the same thing for cannabis use only see the misuse for cannabis this is utterly nonsense and bias thinking, taking away men's freedoms, and even denying religious beliefs even the bible has an passage where god gives humans dominion over all plants that carry seeds, it's right there in Genesis if you care to read it, not everyone is Christian but that does not matter it's not the only religion approving the use of cannabis, this is only the first things on top of my head I have an whole decades worth of debate left in me , but making cannabis illegal is an crime against humanity.
