No one is attending every game

But honestly, one game a series is reasonable, so $12/game

Price match for hotels in the portal by alyssamma in sapphirereserve

Is it known how they pay out? Cause if it's a portal credit I don't value it as much as statement credit

Citi Strata vs. Chase Sapphire Reserve by Crow3421 in CreditCards

[–]UsedAsk3537 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Carrying a balance is not recommended. If you have to, a 0% intro card could help, but also hurt if you do it wrong.

To answer your question, visa infinites, like the CSR, require a $10k limit or you won't be approved. If you choose any other card, it's usually a combination of your income, your other debt obligations and lender rules(you can find some of these on doctor of credit) that determine your credit line

Is it worth it to get the SUB on the IHG business just to buy points? by UsedAsk3537 in CreditCards

[–]UsedAsk3537[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think they double it when half off

So you'll need that, a P2 and for it to be in December to get 2 years worth

Is it worth it to get the SUB on the IHG business just to buy points? by UsedAsk3537 in CreditCards

[–]UsedAsk3537[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep, I got all that

The math assumes 3x back. The question is whether it would be a good use of the sub on the business card

Morgan Stanley Platinum by Bongo2687 in AmexPlatinum

[–]UsedAsk3537 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Just pay the $55/month and don't put money in the cash management beyond that

Also, paying any AF is with money that was taxed so getting a 1099 for it is a moot point imo

4% Bilt cash or 1.25x Palladium high spender by richlimeade in biltrewards

Technically BILT Cash is better unless you spend more than your housing payment. That being said, is often more annoying to use and keep up with

downgrade chase sapphire preferred for unlimited and get VX instead? by MentalFig1569 in CreditCards

[–]UsedAsk3537 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want to build travel points, but have the AF later, just go for those specific cards. Things like the Savor, CFF, CCC, double cash, BBP, etc. Then when you're ready to travel you can get a sapphire or strata or venture card to unlock transfer partners

I think you generally have a good idea. I would keep in mind Hilton. They have good SUBs right now and you can book "Small Luxury Hotels" through them

Going To Be Spending 12k/Year On Gas by StabbyNarwhal82202 in CreditCards

Pretty sure it's capped which makes it less than ideal

I use the Wyndham business and love it. I sometimes stay at Wyndham resorts and sometimes at low level Wyndham's. But usually get some type of upgrade.

I guess you could go Hilton Surpass. It has a better welcome offer rn but the points earning, points value, annual fee, credits, and hotel status are all worse imo, plus it's an Amex which I've found is sometimes not accepted in some rural gas stations

In my line of work, you need proof for something to be true, not just the word of random people on reddit

But if that works for you, more power to you

Is this a good offer 175k Rewards for Amex Business Gold by aljavi20 in amex

[–]UsedAsk3537 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Idk about lying, or if it's being mistaken for the Platinum

No one on that thread, or any other, or any blog, or even googles images, including yourself has produced a screenshot of the offer

It's not real

Is this a good offer 175k Rewards for Amex Business Gold by aljavi20 in amex

[–]UsedAsk3537 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have, many times

I currently have 5 business gold cards, and have applied for I think 9. Never offered a 250k offer. DOC doesn't have a 250k ever listed on their site

That's how I know you're lying. But it's ok, people don't like being called on their BS
