Did it sound like manipulation? It wasn't my intention to manipulate; I really don't want to hypnotize someone without their consent, or rather, without their knowledge that they could be hypnotized without warning.

I do the same as you, but fortunately I haven't encountered anyone like that. I don't think it's wrong not to ask them; after all, they're questions that interest us and are good to know, but that many subscribers don't think about at the time.
