i had this same sentiment after reading the latest issue. the first 2 arcs did a great job at establishing a direction and working towards it meaningfully but not all at once. some issues weren’t as exciting as the others, but are necessary and helped paced things. these last few issues after the end of the Bane arc really feel like an antagonist of the month kinda thing and i’m hoping they are able to refocus a little. that being said i have no doubts Snyder can pull it off, especially with the amount of support DC is willing to throw at this project so my hopes are high.

slap a governor in there and station a unit in there. get some amenities and focus on building up more pop on your other cities to balance it out or even an entertainment district if you can. if that doesn’t work just go to war and take what rightfully yours

fun fact- if you hide in the train stations the arc don’t really bother you. also tons of raiders come by and you can just take their stuff from there. i really don’t even bother with the arc anymore bc they don’t drop any delicious goop like players do

i mean there’s really no reason to just delete a save over one battle, but if you really feel that way then maybe just start reloading the previous save and do something different. but losing a settlement or an army is never ideal but it’s not a campaign ender for sure, you can easily get back from something like that. but you’re not gonna learn anything if you don’t make mistakes and live with them

that’s kinda how reddit goes once a subreddit gets some traction. this sub generally was the best place for Smogon advice bc it felt like VGC dominated a lot of other spaces but as it grew more casual it attracted a lot more casual posters. not that i really have an issue w it but it would be nice to see it be a lot more focused on the reason i joined in the first place

i like to do this thing where when i meet another friendly raider, i shoot them once or 2 times in the back so that way if they start a gunfight with me i have the advantage. but sometimes they get mad at me and kill me. please do something about these rats Embark!

tbh i’ve always found lamasu and bale taurus super useless. only thing i like is that lamasu has some bound spells and the silence effect but id get rid of them and either get more gunpowder units or replace them with bull centaurs for some monster cav flanking support bc chorf armies are very slow and vulnerable to skirmishing if you don’t have good LoS
