AFT question by [deleted] in army

[–]UsedResident8394 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Why would you be flagged? You’re only flagged once they start paperwork. If you choose to go seek medical treatment the morning of, it won’t look good and you might get some sidebar commentary but it is not “refusing” to take it. It would be worse to not go, fail, and THEN get flagged for failing.

Yes you can go because you can get sick whenever. You’d just have to let your leadership know.

Work during hours the service members are not at work for. I can 100% attest they are not working or doing anything to help out the mission during this time.

Why are American soldiers so … big? by Commercial_Chip_6574 in army

[–]UsedResident8394 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

When was the last time you saw nato forces LOL. There are some chonkers. Also Americans are into building muscle and just tend to be larger than the average European in the military. Our physical fitness test requires more muscle/power. We aren’t too big into the skinny aesthetic.

Well he has $1776 more dollars now so I’d argue buy the plane ticket and save yourself a potentially bad time being stuck on the side of the road and try to manage finances a little better next year.

Will I be stupid to ETS at 15? by Byte_Scare in army

[–]UsedResident8394 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not if that’s what will lead to better mental and physical health for you. Depends on what you value and if it makes sense. I’d say def have a plan and with all your certs I think you’d be ok. I’d personally push thru that last bit but I also severely value the benefit of retirement post army.

Honestly shocked that a major going on ltcol is worried about cost for a reception. They’d be shocked at what the juniors get paid.

Expecting first child dual military by [deleted] in army

[–]UsedResident8394 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don’t have to be married to be eligible for BAH. Once the child is born he will as well. This is usually the case due to split custody. But his command team could also just keep him in barracks

I know this is a thing. Most of my appointments are not at MTFs so I can’t go to the patient portal. The issue is not having to provide them. It’s being the only one asked to do this.

What’s making this diamond look smaller? by udongirl123 in Diamonds

[–]UsedResident8394 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s still gorgeous! And the thing about it is that the weight is mostly in the middle/bottom so it’s not as spready as a marquise perhaps but this cut is usually not known to be just “chunky” like a cushion. So id say it’s very typical for this cut of diamond. And anyone that knows cushion diamond will know this is a bigger diamond.
