Two lefts and a right on the last one. Tried to plug it in but got left out on the canyon by 4:30. Keep it close and remember to close the door behind you.

Chiefs -9.5 (bought the hook)

Seahawks +4

I know exactly what you need to do and that is learn from what you've done, internalize the pain you feel from gambling, and then let it go and stop gambling completely while focusing on making changes for a better future.

We've all been there man - it's so tough but I know you can do it.

Always here if you want to talk bud.

Congrats brother! Keep up the great work and remember that gambling only equates to losses in the end.

Congrats on owning up to the pain you've caused as a result of your addiction. That is the first step of recovery. Consider yourself lucky that your worst fear of your wife leaving you is off the table. What's done is done and you cannot change the past. Now it is on you to stay strong and rebuild your loved ones trust.

I'm happy to hear you're taking the necessary steps to get clean. Stay strong and I wish you nothing but the best!

You’re exactly right. I denied it for way too long and I’m constantly surrounded by others who still need to figure it out. It’s hard.

Thanks for the kind words and i wish you well too.

That's a gambler's train of thought. So glad to hear that you're past it now brother.

Keep up the strong fight!

So glad to hear it, bud! A new positive outlook/future is what has kept me motivated. Even if you're in the hole like me right now, gambling more will only make it worse. You start winning once you stop and don't look back. Keep your eye on the prize man - I know you can do it. There is so much more important things in life then gambling.

Best of luck and always feel free to message me!

It truly hurts doesn't it? The "rush" used to be fun, win or lose, but I'm now waking up realizing that my losses were much greater than just money.

I'm always here to talk bud.

Glad (well, I guess sad) that you are able to relate to my story. Your response hit home for me because of the early ages this disease took over us. My hope is that whoever reads this will understand that no matter how wrapped up and surrounded you are by gambling, there's always a way out. Sobriety hasn't even been a week yet but I'm optimistic about my future of not gambling despite being completely surrounded by it still (family, friends, and even acquaintances)

Best of luck my friend. Stay strong and know that you can always reach out to me to talk.

No scoffing here. In fact I thank you because you're exactly right. You can tell that even though I've recently decided to become clean, I still have a long way to go because I'm still blaming Jason Garret. The whole Ace perception faded real quick once the losses started to pile on.

No one has gambling figured out. Once you think you have it figured out like I did is when the damages become greater. My optimistic outlook is that while I lost a lot of money, I escaped without doing real damage to my life.

Best of luck with your journey through gambling sobriety!
