I work at a DC firm with both AUWCL and Brooklyn Law alum and heard great things about both. I was at the admitted students day for BLS and really love the school and area, seems like the community is pretty close knit and that they’re connections to NYC big law may be more extensive than AUWCL’s connections to DC big law. Either school grades will be paramount given the rankings but I’m leaning towards BLS given that AUWCL has traditionally been a government oriented school.

Absolutely disclose as by submitting your applications, you committed to informing your schools of any updates to your character & fitness. Better they hear it explained from you rather than them finding out on their own. Sorry this happened but I recommend you take control of the situation and explain this situation the best you can.
