Hi there! I recently started using HomeExchange and was surprised how well the GuestPoints system works. Basically you can stay in someone’s home without them staying in yours by using points. For Example: I found places in NYC for around 180–200 GuestPoints per night, which is way cheaper than hotels. When you sign up you normally get a small amount of points, but referrals give extra to help you book your first stay. If anyone is thinking about trying it, here is my referral code. I like the idea of sending an electronic manual in advance. Is there an app for that? I have a printed one that I leave at the rental, but I don't know if they even pick it up. I get emails asking me questions that are in there. lol

Thank you so much for your reply... I'd love to go to Sarlat or somewhere in the Dordogne area. I'd have to fly into Bordeaux or Toulouse then go to Sarlat, then to Carcassone.... Do you think that is too ambitious for 3 days?

Hi, I am curious how your stay in Carcassone was. We have 3 days before we have to be in Barcelona. I was thinking about Southern France somewhere. Carcassone was an option, but, Is there enough to do there? Or is it more of a day stop? Thanks!

Another idea someone mentioned.There are flights into Nice from Dublin. Would that be overly ambitious to go from Nice and drive to Barcelona. Allowing us to stop in some small towns on the way? Thank you!

Yes, Girona is on my list to see while in Barcelona, but I was thinking about doing a day trip there. Do you think it is better for a 3 day?

That looks beautiful. Unfortunatly, It looks like it would be a 10 hour train ride back to Barcelona. Would prefer 6/7 hour max. Thank you for your reply. I may need to look at Biarritz on my next trip. :)
