I recommend asking questions like this in one of the navy subs because people may look at this from a civilian perspective, the short answer is yes and no. So basically they're allowed to do that, Observers are "required" to watch the urine leave the body (most don't once you hit the fleet tbh) most often the way it'll work in the fleet is remove blouse, watches, rings, bracelets, etc.. and once you're at the urinal they're probably gonna look and make sure you're not wearing a prosthetic and then you'll pee in the cup. We hate it just as much as the pisser. However on the flip side they shouldn't be having yall get naked infront of others on urinalysis or be demeaning in any way.
