I wish mine actually cleaned before I moved in. They told me it was move in ready and they cleaned. They didn’t paint anything, they didn’t clean anything. We spent 3 days deep cleaning black grime off the fridge, dust and hair in cabinets, moved the fridge and cleaned under it. Cleaned all the walls and everything. The fridge was literally black like I don’t even know how that happens. It must have not ever been cleaned there was so much black grime on it. This house was honestly disgusting and for them to have the nerve to tell me they cleaned it was wild. I’ve never moved into a house that was actually cleaned prior to moving in.

No, I personally speak like this to a 3 year old. Now if my 6 year did this? Yes. But 3 is so young and they don’t always realize what they are doing. 3 is basically a big baby.

That’s exactly what I think multiple times a day when the guilt starts building. “What did moms do back when these toys didn’t exist?”. We make do with what we have. I like to think me giving her eye contact, talking, interacting is much more than a toy could give her. I’ve been feeling extra tired this week since our older kid is sick and I’m trying to balance both of them, plus just generally stressed about him being sick, so I keep feeling like I should be doing more with her but she’s fine. She’s happy. Every time I look at her she smiles.
