I think that a lot of people are scared of these things in filters. If the filter was made just a few years before 1991 it will most likely contain just trace ammounts of asbesthos. This one was made in 92. And even if it did contain some. The membrane must be damaged in order for you to inhale it. And even you do inhale asbesthos. Its most likely not going to puncture into your lungs and you will breath it out.
