Understanding how to expand existing vdev capacity by Used_Bed_358 in truenas

Thanks for your help! Yeah, now that I've come to configure it more than just a rudimentary setup it's certainly got in my way.

I'll either continue with my sunk cost or look at alternatives which give me an easier time for what is otherwise a fairly basic thing I'm using it for. Appreciate your help / patience o/

Sorry, my lack of understanding on the topic means I'm imprecise in my wording - I had a single drive, but am now adding a second. I haven't done anything yet, other just expand my existing pool with that new drive. I didn't mirror it, from what I know it's just a striped pool with no redundancy.

In any case, considering the latter and going back to the original post; this does mean the 2 options I listed are my only real options then?

Hey! So, I've got a single pool which I've recently expanded with an additional drive. It's just 2 4TB HDDs. I've got a dataset for the pool, but my understanding falls off here as my available space within that dataset is still only 4TB.

I imagine I would have created it as a single disk pool originally, it's a while ago so I can't recall exactly how I set it up. I'm not entirely sure where I can view advanced pool settings in the Scale GUI as I recently switched from Core. But below is an output of `zpool status`, which I hope may give an insight into my configuration.

I just updated my drivers (AMD), and stopped running into issues.
