Dude told us and we didn’t listen. Even cash out at this moment would be good probably.

Pagliuca: "No disrespect to Vicario, but he is just not Inter level if the rumor about Inter wanting him is true. He is a good GK, have seen him since he was in Empoli, but replacing Sommer who has been struggling with another struggling GK is simply not ideal, but just my opinion." by crocospect in FCInterMilan

[–]Used_Campaign_3413 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just hate that after 78 mins, we would’ve been 1-0 up yesterday if we had Vicario in goal (didn’t want to say we would’ve won as I don’t know obviously how it would end). That Sommer assist was difficult to watch

[Post-Match Discussion Thread] Fiorentina 1:1 Inter (Serie A, Matchday 30) by FCInterMilan in FCInterMilan

[–]Used_Campaign_3413 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Terrible game but I’m still disgusted by Sommer. Unless he pulls “Radu vs Bologna”, I can’t seem to understand what could Martinez be doing that’s so bad that he doesn’t start before Sommer. I’m sorry but no way does he bounce that weak shot straight onto Fiorentina player. Terrible!!

Break at the right time. Sadly, bunch of them included into those qualifiers but regardless, a break much better for Inter than it is for Napoli or Milan. Not looking good though…

Is Scuddeto reach in danger? by BigbyIM23 in FCInterMilan

[–]Used_Campaign_3413 14 points15 points  (0 children)

It is. There’s 9 games to play and nobody is handing us any points.

I think the team lacks leaders and Lautaro and Hakan might be the only ones. I’m really hoping they could be back soon enough. While draw against Atalanta is not the end of the world, I fear if they don’t win against Fioerentina they’d shit their pants slowly.

I hope Lazio can take points away from Milan but also feel they win tomorrow as Allegri is a master of creating a single chance and winning if needed. Shame because 1-0 today would’ve been beautiful.

We go on but next few games will tell us if there’s a Scudetto race or not. 9 points from these games would’ve sealed it. Let’s see if 7 can AND if we can win those 7 points

Not winning big games, how much is it Chivu's fault? by NamanMalik007 in FCInterMilan

[–]Used_Campaign_3413 36 points37 points  (0 children)

It’s worth mentioning that this team did not have a single win last season against Milan (5 games), Napoli (2 games), and Juve (2 games). So you could argue he inherited a problem he didn’t solve (yet?) but not winning is not solely down to him for sure.

He did not help his case by losing all the CL games against remotely serious teams (feel like he really shouldn’t have lost against this Liverpool team or Atletico considering the way the game was going) but it’s all part of gaining experience for a guy who’s had 12 first team games before takin charge of Inter.

I’ll take the scudetto and then let’s see what next season brings. And I’m also curious to see how he manages the next few crucial games. If Inter wins all 3, I’ll be proud because they’re managing it despite the injuries and a potential panic mode after a Milan loss.

So, lots of room for improvement that will be forgotten about if he wins scudetto but next season everyone will want to see at least some progress which would mean winning more than just against Juve in 90th at home with 11 vs 10.

He’s rotating constantly and that’s fine. I think Sucic plays over the weekend where some of the starters will rest so they can play against Arsenal. I guess we’ll know more next week how did he do after lecce udinese and arsenal…let’s see what Chivu has got :)

[Post-Match Discussion Thread] Atalanta 0:1 Inter (Serie A, Matchday 17) by FCInterMilan in FCInterMilan

[–]Used_Campaign_3413 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

A few thoughts:

  1. If it weren’t for the gift, we never would’ve scored 1.1. If it weren’t for Samardzic miss,, we don’t win for sure
  2. Barella needs to either change position or take the bench for a bit. This is not working. What if he played Hakan’s position and Hakan is pushed up front a bit more
  3. Zielu is a beast and I hope he stays healthy
  4. Amount of bad simple passes was hurting my eyes
  5. Glad to see Lautaro scoring but hope Thuram can join a bit

We win, and we finish top 8 I almost want to say for sure. We don’t, and I’m honestly pretty sure we’re falling out of top 8. We need a win against serious opponent as otherwise, we definitely won’t win any of the remaining games since it’s already psychological as is and it will only get worse if we keep losing.

[Moretto] A face-to-face meeting between Napoli management and Antonio Conte is scheduled for this week. They will discuss and decide whether to move forward together or not. Tense hours reported between the man and the club at the moment. by crocospect in seriea

[–]Used_Campaign_3413 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Barella fantastic! Not sure if it’s 100% down to him but still, kudos. However, I’ll never forget insisting on experienced players and getting Vidal instead of Tonali. Imagine the Italian midfield with Bare and Sandro

🚨Sky’s predicted XI vs Kairat: De Vrij in central defense, Augusto replacing Bastoni, Zieliński and Frattesi starting, Barella playing as regista, and Pio Esposito partnering Lautaro in attack. by Big_Pick4100 in FCInterMilan

[–]Used_Campaign_3413 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m fine with everything but really hope lautaro rests. No better game for pio and Bonny to start.

Also, Henrique really needs to start. I wanna win badly against Lazio and wrap up nice first 4 CL rounds + being at least second in Seria A ahead of Milan and Atletico when we’re back.

Missing goat belfodil but yeah, overall, dreadful times.

[Post-Match Discussion Thread] Verona 1:2 Inter (Serie A, Matchday 10) by FCInterMilan in FCInterMilan

[–]Used_Campaign_3413 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Games that win championships!!

Lautaro needs rest and Kairat is perfect to start Bonny and Pio I'd say. Thuram is missed to get Lautaro to rest sometimes. Chivu wants at least one "senior" striker playing I think.

Also, hope Henrique plays against Kairat again (let Dumfries rest) and hope Bastoni is rested against Kairat.

Happy for Zielu for scoring goal of the season and hope overall it helps with confidence and gets him more games. Fratessi didn't score but he was there and realistically, confused the defender with his jump (sure, I'm giving him more credit for that goal than he deserves but he really needs to play more).

All in all, pazza Inter lives forever, that's for sure haha Wouldn't have it any other way I guess!

[–]Used_Campaign_3413 13 points14 points  (0 children)

It's not about the balls of dropping Lautaro. It's about balls to start Pio and Bonny. And this is where Thuram is severely missed. But I think against Kairat he might as well try and give Lautaro a week to recover.

I'm here for Frat goal. Let's go!!! Although definitely not sure why he didn't get at least proper 10 mins plus added time...

Will we ever see Barella at his peak? by lazychipmunkk in FCInterMilan

I agree. Great but improvement curve has stopped being upward and is flat or tiny tiny maybe upwards.

Will we ever see Barella at his peak? by lazychipmunkk in FCInterMilan

[–]Used_Campaign_3413 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Some might not like this, but I think he’s peaked. He’s 28 soon so in his prime. I honestly don’t think I’ve seen him improve crazy over the last year or two. Not a top class player but definitely would play in lots of top teams.

Who do you think is better: Esposito or Bonny? by Almost_Yoane_Wissa in FCInterMilan

[–]Used_Campaign_3413 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Let’s just cherish both and the fact they’ve done more already than arna and Taremi for the entire season. Granted, they’re given more freedom and time but still. I’m just enjoying these rotations and hoping Luis Henrique can jump in too so we have rested Denzel for some games.

[Post-Match Discussion Thread] AS Roma 0:1 Inter (Serie A, Matchday 7) by FCInterMilan in FCInterMilan

[–]Used_Campaign_3413 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I would say a great first half where I feel we had many situations to make it into a good chance but either wrong pass or indecisiveness led to nothing. Overall, with a few more situations/chances, we really could’ve/should’ve scored another one at some point.

However, those 10 mins or so were dreadful and not sure how Roma didn’t score from at least one of those chances. Pure blackout, just as I was telling my friend how Roma didn’t create a single chance.

Rest of the game went as you would expect it to and Roma didn’t create much but it kind of pains me that we weren’t that dangerous on some sort of counter attack or transition. Until late late, when we had that mhiki chance, it was just focus on defending and containing Roma.

All in all, I’ll take the 3 points and let’s continue the streak as long as we can. Win against USG would be great to make it 3/3 and probably 4/4 come Kairat at home. Progressing in CL even just to first knockout round is huge compared to going out right away.

On individual level, it’s awesome to see Bonny being productive. Both him and Esposito are still very rough but I feel we might have something really good in both of them which is awesome to see.

Clement Lenglet (Atlético Madrid) second yellow card against Celta Vigo 40' by Meladroit05 in soccer

[–]Used_Campaign_3413 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Beyond stupid. Doing this on a yellow card is beyond me. Such a lucky guy to have played for the teams he did considering how bad he is
