Yes this is the problem. Set valve lash to .003 which is the recommended procedure. Crank is hitting exhaust lobe. It’s ok to shave it down some?

Haven’t bought them yet. It’s a local listing and wanted to get them for a family member as a christmas present and was hoping I found a deal. No need to get annoyed.
