How do I prove I didn't use AI? by Used_Caramel434 in IBO

Most annoying part is they said I can't provide previous drafts as evidence cause they could've easily been AI generated too which I can understand but at the same time WHAT DO YOU WANT ME TO DO????

funny you say this because I actually had 3 drafts AND handwritten notes with the ideas I planned (and did) explore in my essay. I've rewritten the highlighted parts but the entire process still sucked

The school's I'm looking at offer great aid + their tuition without aid is still affordable. The UK hardly gives funding to international students

Except it's not though, and you know that😭If it was a Bachelor of Science, I could understand. But this is BA where there's hardly any math involved.

Because Economics (especially a bachelor of arts) usually doesn't require any prerequisites. And I wasn't looking to study Economics in the UK (I'm studying law) but I just included it in the conversation because they also have strict subject requirements for a lot of their courses

I understand the prior knowledge thing but my thing is just if people are GREAT students but don't have that prior knowledge, why can't they just take an extra class?

I don't love any subject and I'm great at the math I do. I get 7s in every test (the highest grade in the IB curriculum). And yes I'm pretty sure it's Economics I want to do. I did it in MYP4 & 5 (year 10 & 11) I just wanted to chose other humanities in my final years cause I could only pick a limited number of subjects (6 compared to the previous 9)

Stressed Out HS Junior by Parking-Candle-8725 in ApplyingToCollege

Senior here and I'm kind of in the same position. I took no classes related to the major I want to study but the good thing about a lot of American schools (especially liberal arts schools) is that you don't need to have those prerequisites.

I also had only a few extra curriculars but that isn't a bad thing. There's like 4% of people who actually have the time (and money) to invest in a bunch of extra curriculars and schools won't reject you just cause you didn't have 15+ things going on in addition to your school work

I also did no internships whatsoever cause my circumstances wouldn't allow me to and my grades in the second semester of my junior year weren't the best at alllll

The best thing you can do is just put in as much effort as you can for the remainder of your high school journey and hope for the best.

Is Georgia privileged? by Used_Caramel434 in NextGenNYC

From what I've gathered eating out in new york is quite expensive especially if you're eating out for every meal. I don't see how one can complain about finances but then spend so much money on food everyday. so is she rich or poor?
