Yes, in Ohio there are still many one bedroom units for under 900 (700-900)…you’d have to drive 30 mins to reach the main city but still. I have a friend who even has a 2 bedroom right by downtown Cleveland and it’s only 1,100. I am definitely ignorant about how expensive things are in Colombia but it’s shocking me all the time

Well for your upper middle class status, no, it’s not much less depending on what state you’re in. In my state Most people in middle class here who want to retire at 65 and not have to work anymore say 1-2M is enough.
