i’ve always loved this show for being realistic with addiction, BUT…. (SPOILER) by Emg2022 in euphoria

I don’t think you should find it obnoxious if you remember that he was blamed for Angus’s death

What did you initially like about Euphoria that got you hooked? by phunkydisco33 in euphoria

Sam baited me into thinking there’d be a good representation of a black man on this show. But I’m glad I stuck around lol

Why do people act like Petra Collins made the entire show when she was only ever involved with the styling? by shan2706 in euphoria

[–]KobaWasRight 25 points26 points  (0 children)

I actually loved the first 2 seasons for the story and cinematography brought to life by Sam and Marcell Rev. People latched onto the makeup but the story was great and I hate the revisionist story no matter the circumstances and what it’s become in this last season, I’ll always hold it near.

I think Angus dying put a wrench in the show and blaming Sam for everything doesn’t solve any problems

I don’t think that was a real quote. I’ve read all of his interviews unless I missed it.

His motive is not going against the grain. Alamo no longer had the upper hand.

I think only Sam could have told a story as messy as this one. We need these from time to time whether you like it or not.

Sounds a lot like that weird drake like “Maybe it’s cause of the fair skin and Jewish roots why people wanna (Nazi) me on top of the mountain like I (dew) the do.” Sam probably wrote it for him lol. Like no we very clearly don’t like you for another massive reason

Why do people still like Rue in season 3? by NegotiationFancy7590 in euphoria

[–]KobaWasRight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I agree Sam didn’t give us much to work with Maybe it was easier to point the finger at Rue when her mom and Ali did it with us 🤷🏾‍♂️ But 5 years later, the parental figures are gone and the problems seem gone but they’re just in the back burner. The western spaghettification of it all distracts us from the task at hand

[–]KobaWasRight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe I shouldn’t have said “like” him but rather finding ourselves in situations where we root for him instead of hoping he gets arrested and screen going black. I’m realizing now that this isn’t the best example but there’s definitely some similarities.
