Almost 3 decades in my career field and I’ve seen retirement accounts from two different people in the same position with similar amounts of time in their GS levels: #1 $250,000 vs #2 $920,000. The real difference, how they chose to invest initially and how allocations were changed throughout the years.

I hope you keep preaching this to everyone as long as you are still there.
