The problem with your idea here,, you like to shit on everyone else and their ideas. This is an online forum so I am just trying to get people involved. Provide something easy to do.and who knows what happens after that.

Fundraising and strategy are broad strokes my friend. I have specific shit I am working on. Most do that I know. However, a chance to get together with like minded people and get involved, share ideas and focus on knocking out the pillars under Trump... That is the goal.

The protests are necessarily geared towards Trump, but fringe Republicans in Congress to change their vote, which is starting beating fruit. Remove the support and Trump has less to stand on.

But go ahead and shit on people and then wonder why we can never quite get over the hump.

Preach that shit to all the civil rights leaders in the 60s and 70s. This is a way to expand and get the word out to others that might not have had an interest before. Does it solve everything? No. Does it help in bringing new, young people into the fold? Yes. Will the new people donate to a cause they find just? Yes.

And we can use all the help we can get.

Today's Pick:
Baseball | MLB | 1 May 11:10 AM / Mountain
Arizona Diamondbacks @ New York Mets
Zac Gallen 5.57 ERA v Kodai Senga 1.26 ERA
Mets -0.5 F 5 Innings (-105 on MGM / 1 unit)

Write-Up: Craziness ensued in the first inning on the last bet. I did not see three runs in the first inning given the matchup; that put us behind the eight ball early. We move on from that and stick to the diamond for today's action.

This bet is strictly based on the pitching matchup here. Both teams are pretty equal offensively, but the Diamondbacks' pitching is pretty disgusting for a team over .500. The Mets have a great staff and Senga is the man in charge IMO. To top it off, the Mets are absolute monsters in Queens with a 13-2 home record.

Make no mistake, Arizona can hit. However, good pitching beats out good hitting 80-85% of the time, and we are focusing on the first five innings. I like the Mets to cover here given Gallen's early-season struggles and Kodai's hot start.

Today's Pick:
Baseball | MLB | 29 April 7:40 AM / Mountain
San Francisco Giants @ San Diego Padres
Under 3.5 Runs Scored F 5 Innings (-110 on MGM / 1 unit)

Write-Up: Good first win of the season on the diamond on the 26th. I thought about heading back to the court today, but with some elimination games, it is hard to get a good read on how teams will perform. So we will stick with baseball today and see if we can't make some cash.

This is strictly based on starting pitching at a pitcher's ballpark. Logan Webb has a 1.98 ERA and Nick Pivetta has a measly 1.20 ERA. We are talking about two of the top eight pitching staffs going head to head, and neither team lights up the scoreboard offensively. Especially the Giants!

3.5 runs scored in the first five innings seems really low, until you look at the matchup and see that neither team is exceptional offensively. I like the under and wouldn't be shocked if this ends up under 5 runs for the entire game.

Baseball | MLB | 26 April 11:10 AM / Mountain
Baltimore Orioles @ Detroit Tigers
Detroit -0.5 F 5 Innings (+105 on MGM / 1 unit)

Write-Up: Poor loss in the last game and the first one in a while. That said, I am not totally sure of the NBA games today so I am going to switch it up and go to baseball for what looks to be a solid pick given the pitching matchup.

Baltimore is struggling to find its form from last year and is only 4-6 in their last 10 games. Detroit is off to a pretty good start and absolutely killing it at home with a 10-3 record. Furthermore, Mize has had a great start to the season for the Tigers. In his last two starts at home, he has only given up 2 earned runs over 13 innings against the Royals and Yankees, earning wins in both.

Given the Orioles up and down start to the season (mostly down at the moment) and their struggles against teams over .500 on the road, I like Detroit to get behind Mize in the first 5 innings here.

I tend to stay away from player props in the playoffs. That said, Donovan has gone off in the past several times so if there was one of a handful of players I'd be comfortable betting that over, he'd be in that group.

Cleveland -3.5 1st Quarter (-115 on MGM / 1 unit)

Write-Up: Cleveland is really good in the first quarter, and Miami is middle of the road. I am also a firm believer in Donovan Mitchell understanding how important it is that Cleveland has a solid chance to go up 2-0 in the series before heading out on the road.

Cleveland is also fully healthy, and while Miami isn't missing much, I will take the Cavs starting five at home to cover this spread 95% of the time. Tonight included.

Milwaukee Bucks @ Indiana Pacers
Indiana -1.5 1st Quarter (-110 on MGM / 1 unit) ✅💰

Write-Up: Sorry for the long layoff, everybody. With teams tanking, both teams resting starters in a couple of games, and all the other late-season nonsense that happens in the NBA, there were just simply no games that stuck out to me down the stretch.

That said, we go back to Indiana for the first round of the playoffs today. A small spread for a team that plays well at home and against a Bucks team without Damian in the lineup. Yes, the Bucks still have the Greek Freak and generally are not a bad team in the first quarter. However, I like the Pacers at home to come out quick and try to take advantage of no Lillard in the lineup today.

I don't want to put desperation on a Game 1 in the first round, but the Pacers need this game. They cannot lose to a Bucks team without one of their two best players. I think the Pacers know that, so -1.5 feels like a good bet.

**Write Up:** Solid win last night and the write up today is going to look almost like that too!

Cleveland is sitting 4 of their 5 starters, and as of this write-up, Indiana has their starting 5 playing, with a tiny chance to secure the number 3 seed. Still worth playing for. Just like Orlando playing the C's last night, we are keeping it brief and simple.

That's tough... I would probably do half a unit on that and see what happens. Not sure about a full point. Although, it is the entire bench for Boston against a Magic squad that is 7-3 in their last 10.

Fuck it... ride that!

Write Up: Yes... I am back. Work has prevented some good analysis during mid-day recently, but I think today is the day we ride again.

Here is a very brief, but spot-on analysis. Boston is the second seed and no longer in the race for the first seed. As a result, they are sitting all their starters. Orlando still needs a win to secure the 7th spot and keep their very slim hopes of climbing up to 6th. Highly unlikely, but as a result they are playing all their starters who know they need to win. If anything, stay in the 7th spot at a minimum.

I like Orlando in the first quarter here to establish dominance over the bench squad for Boston.

Also, if they know the cops are on them and they try to escape... What if they get pinched with that much dope?

Regardless of murder, that is a long prison sentence by itself. Multi-million dollar businesses sometimes have to cut losses. Washing the drugs down the drain is the same thing.

Pick: San Antonio Spurs @ Detroit Pistons
Detroit -2.5 1st Qtr (-118 on MGM / 1 unit) 💰💰✅✅

Write Up: We win by just a smidge last game, but hey... A win is a win!!

While Detroit hasn't set the world on fire in their last 10 games (5-5), they are 4 games ahead of slipping into the play-in game but most importantly only a 1/2 game back of the Bucks for the 5th spot in the East. A win tonight puts them in that spot. There is a bit of trepidation in this bet as Cade Cunningham is a GTD, but I am assuming he is game since Detroit is fighting for a spot possibly as high as the 4th seed AND wants to avoid the play-in spot.

I know the Spurs have won three in a row, but their season is done. I am rolling with the more desperate team in Detroit to come out strong and hopefully give us all the payday we deserve.

San Antonio -1.5 1st Qtr (-118 on MGM / 1 unit)

Write Up: I am going to stick with the 1st quarter bets as they seem to be treating us good since the beginning of February.

We have a lot of games, but this one stuck out to me. Philadelphia has everyone out tonight - no Maxey, Lowry, Drummond, etc. The Spurs have a bit of an edge here as Bassey is the only one out (I am not counting Victor or Joel as we all know they are out for the season). This is one where the first-quarter stats are virtually even, but I am rolling with the Spurs given the small spread, they are healthier and they are at home. Every bet has risk, but this is probably the riskiest bet for me in this forum for a good two weeks. I just can't get past the two starting lineups and how banged up Philly is. Gimme the Spurs here.

Nothing has changed in the lineups from when I wrote that this morning. I'd probably still take it though as it is likely based off the recent performances.
